Hello,
My name is Rev. Dr. Mark R. Holland. This blog is entitled “Urban Ecclesiology” because my advocation is addressing the challenge of the church in the city. Since 1999, I have been the pastor of Trinity Community Church, A United Methodist Congregation in Kansas City, Kansas. This blog is dedicated to my thoughts about Christian theology, especially as it relates to the nature of the church (ecclesiology). I do not claim expertise, only passion and faithfulness to the task at hand.
I will also be posting daily about the United Methodist General Conference in Tampa, Florida from April 23 to May 5, 2012. The General conference is the international meeting of 1,000 delegates from around the world who meet every four years. This is my 4th General Conference as an alternate clergy delegate.
Please note: These blog posts are mine alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United Methodist Church, Trinity, or members of the congregation.

Thanks for the updates on the GC!
If you get bored or just need a laugh you can go to http://www.paleriderspeaks.blogspot.com where I too offer commentary usually based on the commentary of others, but you will find a lot more of interest on the blog. You can start with “Three key Documents to Read/Why Pale Rider?” and go from there.
Peace…
